Forever Sushi in Puyallup

A bit pricey, the food was okay but also not the best; the rice tasted like perfume, and some of the fried items had a fairly weird taste, not bad but just a little weird. Service was okay but my friend only got one drink refill.

5 stars for what it is, a small, local sushi place that is very good with excellent staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was excellent. I think my dinner was around $18 and I was struggling to finish everything. The lady even brought us out complimentary miso soup, which she says she makes herself, and it was honestly the best I ever had. Great experience, will definitely return.

Sushi is delicious. Love the tuna wrapped in egg paper. Tasted like a tuna sandwich.Great service and friendly.Just don't ask to use the bathroom. It's a shared bathroom with the other businesses way far down a hallway. Very unclean bathrooms which makes me wonder if the staff uses those bathrooms also cause if so the health department may want to check out the bathroom situation for those food businesses. It was worse then the typical gas station bathroom.

The only reason this restaurant is receiving three stars is the friendly, and welcoming nature of the staff. The fish was not fresh, and there were far too many sauces and baked rolls for their claims of "Freshest affordable fish in town." And, for two people, it was ~$50, which isnt exactly cheap. For what I paid, I expected a far higher level of quality given the proximity to some of the best fish markets in the world. It is very unlikely I will eat here again in the future.

This place is amazing. We don't eat out too often and when we do it is usually an easy choice: Forever Sushi. You won't find a quicker way to eat and all their rolls are delicious. The staff are very friendly and I love the woman at the register, she is so sweet. The best part is how adorable it is. Usually sushi breaks the bank but this place is very reasonable and still a high quality product. This is by far my favorite restaurant in town!

I love this sushi belt restaurant! It's my favorite one the sushi is always great and fresh. They will make anything to order if you ask, super friendly employees!

Not enough employees, we left. Then when we got up to leave they told us to make sure to pay for our drink and suddenly had the time to follow us to the counter when they ignored us the whole time we were waiting. Poor customer service.

Hands down one of the best sushi spots in Puyallup! I decided to go there with my husband this past weekend and the prices were great considering how good the food was made. They even give you little candies when you're ready to head out. Definitely recommend this spot!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Have amazing variety of sushi and other dishes for those whom don't like sushi. Food was absolutely delicious. Clean and comfortable restaurant. I will definitely return.

Will not make you hot apps but refer you to the conveyor belt. This is disappointing to say the least when they have a menu for hot items such as gyoza (nobody wants cold gyoza). The sushi selection is limited unless you like sushi with lots of various sauces on it which makes it soggy to say the least at a conveyor belt place. Lots of mayo sauces...I cant eat mayo so limited there. Staff is very friendly however.

I love this place. Conveyer belt sushi makes it easy to pick what you want without the bother of ordering. Dont fret though, there is a menu to order off.

We had walked by this restaurant a couple months previous and my boys were mesmerized by the conveyor belt and we're begging to try it. We finally gave in and I'm glad we did. My boys are adventurous eaters and they loved it. The sushi was fresh, though there were a few things that were circling around the whole visit. Prices were good and we spent about half of what we normally do when we go out for sushi, I attribute this to the smaller portions so I don't have to order so many rolls to try. It will be one of our new sushi places.

First and foremost, I am not a sushi expert. I only know about sushi from going with friends, reading about it online and being an adventurous eater. The same food over and over gets old fast - so get out of your comfort zone and try something new. That idea has lead me try more and more sushi places. I enjoy the conveyor belt style here at Forever Sushi. They have some plates that I not seen at other places. Bacon wrapped scallops are amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. If you go when it is slow, like I did, you can enjoy a great, affordable meal in peace and quiet. I can't wait to visit again.

I really hate leaving bad reviews but this is simply the worst sushi I have ever eaten.The place is clean and nice, employees are nice. It's a conveyer type sushi place and I ate a few rolls and pieces of nigiri but the quality of the sushi is just terrible, I'd rather eat sushi from Fred myer.

I love this place! Great way to try new things! Conveyor belt sushi. I wonder how long food (especially raw fish) is on the conveyor belt before thrown out. Some hot food is on there cold.

The hostess is amazing, the sushi is fresh, the variety to choose from the conveyor is amazing they also have a menu for hot dishes from the kitchen. Very clean. The service is fabulous and the people are friendly. This is mine, my husband and daughters favorite place to eat. Also reasonably priced.

This is another great sushi place! I love the conveyor belt style. It's a very nice place to go out on a date, the plates are very well priced for their size and portion. This is a great place to try many types of sushi!

Sushi is affordable and delicious! All sorts of varieties. The customer service is even better. One of the workers saw me grab a piece of cake and look at my chopsticks puzzled. Lol, he grabbed me a fork without me even asking. So nice!

Tried it today for the first time. A few things were ok, it was just meh. Plus, after i left i had the worst stomach ache. Probably will just go to trappers in the future because this was way too expensive by the end. They do offer a military discount tho.

The food was great and the service was nice. Will definitely be coming back.

Love this place! friendly workers, plenty of sushi varieties, appetizers, beers, entries etc. this place is the best in puyalllup n Tacoma as sushi go round(revolving sushi). the portion is awesome!

I've never had a bad experience here in all of the years I've gone. The staff is friendly, prompt, and always smiling. The selection is always really delicious and diverse and it's never too costly by the end even with a bunch of plates. Hands down the best sushi spot on south hill.

Atmosphere is very warm and cozy. Being here immediately made my mood better! Staff is all super nice and attentive to detail and they always make sure their customers get what they order. They never slack off and are always on that grind. Love them! As for the food, 10/10. Super affordable too, nothing is overpriced. Definitely recommend! It's fun watching the sushi and desserts go around the belt, too.

Love the conveyor belt. Delicious sushi. Came to about 52 dollars for my husband and I and we are quite a bit.

I love that almost everything is on a belt!!! The people and chefs are excellent. And of course the food! 💖 Prices are great and you always walk out feeling full!!

Take out order (about $80.00+) wasn't completed, we didn't discover it until we got home. Once we called the restaurant they refused to fulfill the order. Thank you.

Sushi here is great! Tastes awesome and staff is very friendly and fast. I recommend the fried rainbow roll it’s killer! Only thing is some of the sushi is lukewarm, kinda like it’s been setting on the conveyer belt for too long. Haven’t gotten sick yet though so I can’t complain!

Very affordable conveyer belt sushi! I drive here from Auburn because of the good service and food, nothing like it down here.

Best customer service I've experienced. All of the staff was one hundred percent on it. Every single staff member paid special attention to all our needs we didn't need to ask for a thing! The only down side is the don't do all you can eat sushi. The sushi was not the best I've tried out here but I give them 5stars for how well we were serviced.

Came here during dinner rush hour on a Saturday. We only waited about 15 minutes for a booth for four. Everything was delicious. Had to ask for multiple water refills though. We enjoy this place every time though, it doesn’t disappoint. Great variety.

Fantastic food at a very reasonable price, and the staff are always very attentive and friendly! We live in Federal Way but whenever we want sushi, we drive over to Puyallup just for this place.

Good food. The kids love coming here the staff is great the kids get to watch the sushi and other items being made and they get to watch the food as it goes around on the conveyor belt one of their favorite places to eat.

Visited during Covid restrictions. Conveyor belt held descriptions of the sushi, and the staff jumped to help to make our meal the best. The sushi was fresh, the deep fried rolls were hot outta the fryer. Our server spent as much time as we needed to answer questions, and when he didnt know the answer, he went and asked. Wish I could give more stars. 10/10 WILL go again!

We love this place. Its puyallups hidden gem. The sushi is top notch and the staff is so fun. This Is belt serve but you can order as well. They are extremely accommodating and aim to please. The chefs and staff are attentive. We admittedly go often enough to be recognized. A common happenstance as you can tell who are regulars. The owner greets everyone as family and loves the kiddos. Great place to grab a quick sushi fix or stay a bit to unwind.
